Sum of top three numbers in a range.

Using sum formula we can calculate the total for the top three values in a range of cell. We can use the =SUM(LARGE(A2:A11,{1,2,3})) formula.




In the above table we have values in ten cells and the referred formula =SUM(LARGE(A2:A11,{1,2,3})) calculates the total of top three values.
The above mentioned formula executes in two ways. 1st the formula looks for the top three values in the range and then calculates the total for the top three values.
